We grabbed our cameras and setup at the Ridgecrest Gun Range Friday evening. The night sky was clear and full of stars making the perfect scene for astrophotography.

There were many planes flying around the skies on this night. About half the photos I took captured a plane flying through it. I took the photo below trying to catch the stars through a desert bush and caught a plane when shooting.

As the temperatures dropped to 32 we decided to pack up and leave. I need a good pair of gloves to wear for pushing buttons so I don’t have to take them off. Other than freezing hands and face the night was perfect.

Below are a few photos I took that turned out well.
