The monsoon weather this past week has promoted some beautiful desert mountain views. Clouds have covered the desert mountains adding some neat views and photo compositions. This is quite abnormal for our region at this time of year but we will take it.
I finally had my first opportunity in a week to get out and snap some photos. Today was the perfect day to do just that. The monsoonal moisture offered up clouds in abundance and I wanted to make sure to take advantage.

Most of the time the desert and surrounding mountains are brown with clear skies above. For the past week, they have been handed shades of vibrancy with the clouds. The desert and mountains are amazing places to visit, but living here is even better. You just can’t beat having this view in your own backyard.
