Welcome back and Happy New Year! The past couple months have been a lot of fun capturing photos with my new Canon EOS R. My first photo shoot of 2022 occurred Sunday, January 2nd at the Cerro Coso Community College campus in Ridgecrest. The skies were clear, no wind and comfortable temperatures made for a perfect setting for a photo shoot.
It was nice to walk around the campus with no one around so I didn’t have to wait for shots. The campus sits on the hillside overlooking the city and valley. Due to the location it offers great campus, nature and landscape photo opportunities.

Conclusion
It was a relaxing day to enjoy just walking around taking photos. It gave me an opportunity to work with some different aperture settings as well. I get out often looking for new views and angles to photo and share with you.
