The month of April has been a busy month for me visiting the Kernville, CA area. With each visit I always made sure my camera was with me at the ready. This trip turned out to be no different from the others. The only difference this time was an enjoyable hike with friends, nature and wildlife.
Whiskey Flat trail is an easy hike and nearly all in the sun, so be sure to have sunscreen. This trail didn’t disappoint as it offered numerous photos opportunities. We discovered numerous flowers, a creek and wildlife on this hike. We only hiked the first two miles, the entire hike totals 14 miles one way.
Photos on the Hike
There was an abundance of flowers along this hike that added some beautiful colors along the way. Below are a few flower photos taken along the trail.

Conclusion
This short hike among beautiful scenery and great friends was priceless. The weather worked out great with comfortable temperatures and little to no wind. Taking some photos of flowers and wildlife made for a wonderful hike.
